Amazing place, everyone is nice. take the bungalow with sea view is really worth, it takes 10 seconds to arrive to the beach. there is a nice pool too

The owner of the hotel is really nice and friendly. She tried very hard to arrange what we need, and we d very appreciated for the last minute required for the hotel transfer from Koh Phangan pier to hotel as I forgot to inform Sawadee nor the hotel owner in advance. However, there are two areas I d like to highlight here. The rooms were not as I expected from the picture I ve seen on the website. Not all of the seaview rooms were facing the sea, but they claim the room as seaview room. The hot water were too small for shower for all rooms (7 rooms together) Besides, the breakfast there were too expensive with very small portion.

Overall our stay at Holiday Beach Resort was very nice and enjoyable, especially the service from the really nice man at the restaurant (i cannot remember his name, but there was only one man) there was one lady at reception, however, who made us all feel quite unwelcome, and as if we were in the way, up until the point that we were checking out, but everything else about this place is so nice and relaxing. Another minor detail was our extra friends in our room. We had a couple of lizards, a massive cockroach, and at one stage my sister lifted her pillow to find hundreds of ants right underneath her head! This wasn t nice at all, but I suppose it wasn t the only place that we came across this problem!

Booking service was very good. I changed the dates I wanted to come a couple of times and this was no problem and no extra charge.

Holiday beach resort is in a good location with a short 10 minute walk to the 7/11, the view is spectacular and there are a few good beach bars near by. We booked a beach front villa and I would highly recommend this even just for 2 nights as the experience was fantastic. Our time on Phangan was one of the highlights of the Asia tour.

The booking service was quick and easy and when the hotel we wanted was fully booked I received a list of available alternatives which I promptly booked.

Our inital impression of the hotel was not very good. The door of the room we reserved did not close, so they tried to downgrade us to a worse room. Eventually we got upgraded to a better room. The staff tried hard to accomodate us. The accomodations were not bad, the pool was great, good place to sleep for full moon party.

We booked 4 nights but prolonged our stay with two additional nights. The location is great if you want to explore the island by motorbike, it s close to Thong Sala and 10 mins to Haad Hin by taxi. It s quite quiet but in the garden bungalows (bamboo) you can hear Kobra gyms fight nights and also some karaoke, earplugs will help you. The pool was great to have, big and not crowded. The thais running he restaurant part are nice, but their English is so so, food ok, nothing special or extraordinary. Room cleaned on demand only, but basically clean and simple. Not worn down. No cockroaches but get some mosqito-repellant (electrical one worked fine) We ll come again.

For the price, very disapointed with the standard of rooms, rooms looked nothing like the website, and we didn't even have beds, requested double bed and got two dirty mattresses on the floor, essentially a beach resort with beach resort prices but run like a cheap hostel, we had friends staying in other resorts along the same stretch and prices were similar but the standard and service they got was far greater than ours, views of the sea were great but the standard of room was very poor and a huge let down, I would recommend for a little bit more money to stay in B52. Fortunately the weather was amazing and didn't put too much of a downer on the holiday as we spent most of it on the beach.

Séjour d 1 semaine. Bungalow un peu petit,aucun rangement possible et pas d eau chaude contrairement au descriptif de l hôtel. Pas de ménage durant toute la semaine et j ai donc du changer moi meme mes draps et mes serviettes. Calme la journée, mais pénible le soir en raison d un karaoke Thaï situé très près et party sur la plage. Déconseillé pour un séjour repos.

If you like swimming in the sea this may not be the place for you, the water is shallow with rocks and coral. My ladyfriend loved it, she collected enough oysters to make a nice yam hoy. The pool is beautiful. The restaurant food was very good and on occasion they do an amazing recipe with mushrooms. The staff were great, altogether an above average experience and I ve travelled in Thailand for over 25 years.

nice resort, worth more than what you pay for. The beach was the only downside, too much coral and rocks to swim, but there is a nice pool there. Restaurant was nice, good food, but the western food wasn t great (don t order the burgers). The room was smaller than expected but pretty clean. Bathrooms were okay, our toilet was slow and there was no hot water the entire time. Service was great, whenever we needed to book a tour or taxi they did it for us. Location was good if you were there for the full moon party, it was inbetween haad rin (100 baht taxi) and thong sala (50 baht). Overall my friends and I were very please with the resort

Really nive resort with fantastic crew who are really service-minded, the new swimming-pool is perfect after a day at the beach. I can really recomend this place, I will definitly go back. BUT - do not hire a motorbike through the resort, the lady that support the MC will probably find that something is wrong with the bike when you returning it and you have to pay a LOT af TBH, it happened to me and some more people when I was there.

Fantastic stay! Staff were great and always smiling, the location was perfect. Directly on the beach with relaxing hammocks looking over the blue/green ocean!! :) Brand new pool, nice food and awesome chillout area where you can sit back and watch films with that dirty hangover from the full moon party! Nice sized rooms, but our shower was a bit delicate so we had to hover under it for a while.. lol Although it says the hotel has a free pick up from the pier, make sure you find out which pier you ll be arriving at, as they only pick up from one - its only 100B each in a taxi though! Deffo recommend this place..its cheap, your backpacking, your about 15 mins from Haad Rin, and they have safes to put your valuables in... not that we needed it really! Make sure you hire a motorbike and explore the island!!
